Postpartum bodies are not broken. They are profoundly changed — and they deserve programming that respects that change. The fitness industry's standard answer to postpartum is the same answer it gives everyone else, just with a 'safe for new moms' label. That's not good enough.
I work with moms at every stage: six weeks out, six months out, six years out. Diastasis recti screening, pelvic-floor-aware programming, the patience and precision postpartum bodies actually need. Not modified bootcamp. Real, intelligent training.
The goal isn't your 'pre-baby body.' The goal is your strongest body — and most moms are surprised to find that's a body they've never had before.

Patient and precise.
Postpartum programming is different. Here's the architecture.
Diastasis + pelvic floor first
We check for separation and dysfunction before we load anything. Programming around it without screening is how injuries happen.
Breath + core integration
The first weeks are reconnection — diaphragm, transverse abdominis, pelvic floor. The foundation everything else builds on.
Progressive strength
Once the foundation is there, we train like any strong woman trains. Real loading, intelligent progression, no bubble-wrap.
Steps over running
Most postpartum bodies are not ready to run until 6+ months out. Walking is the cardio of choice — and far more effective for fat loss anyway.
Programming around chaos
New moms aren't sleeping. The program adjusts. Lower intensity, smarter volume, real recovery — not the fantasy version.
Identity work
Your body changed. Your identity changed. Both deserve attention. We do strength training and we talk about what it means to take an hour for yourself when there's a baby crying.
Things women ask about this.
How soon after birth can I start?
Most clients begin at 6 weeks postpartum with clearance from their provider — but it's about readiness, not the calendar. We assess where you are.
What about C-section recovery?
Different timeline. Usually 8–12 weeks before we load. Scar mobility, deep core re-engagement, and patience are bigger pieces of the program.
Do you screen for diastasis recti?
Yes. Every postpartum client gets a screening protocol. If separation is significant, the program adjusts accordingly until it closes.
Will I have to give up nursing to do this?
No. We work with breastfeeding — protein and calorie targets respect milk supply. We won't put a nursing mother in a deficit that compromises her baby's food.
